Dear wife of the late Wilf loving mother of Lynn, Susan,Pauline. Nana of Carl, Great nan of Chelsea, mother-in-law of the late Alex and of Donna.

Mam was sister to Mary and the late Vera also sister to Doug. Mam is much loved and will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

Mam and dad lived in Biddy camp Marske with their twin daughters then moved to Hutton Grove dormanstown where they had me.

Mam worked as a cleaner in Dormanstown schools for a good few years. Mam and Dad lived in Dormanstown well over 50yr. Mam loved having a cup of tea with our neighbour Mrs Buckinham who used to knock on the wall to let mam know a cup of tea was ready mam did Mrs Buckingham shopping for her. Mam also liked to read thrillers her favourite author was Wilbur Smith.

When I was younger I was always with my mam whenever you saw my mam I wasn't far behind her. Mam I must have shown you up a few times I can remember when I was younger and we went down to redcar and we went into Ellison's the butchers and you would ask for 1lb of saucearge and I would say what you talking like that for mam its sausage and when we went to sparks and mam would ask for half a dozen scoones then I would say what you talking like that for mam its scones.

My parents and my sisters were a big help to me and my late hubby Alex they always visited me and Alex at the Ann Charlton Lodge we always relied on them they did my washing ironing any repairs to my clothes and any shopping we needed nothing was a problem to them.

Mam became ill and was diagnosed with alzimers and was later on admited to four seasons Saltburn where she lived for 2 years and unfortunately was admitted to hospital where mam died peacefully with us all at her bedside. We all loved her so very much.

So glad you were my mam xxx

Rest in peace. ♥
